Automobile Engineering deals in designing, manufacturing and operation of heavy and light automobiles such as bikes, cars, buses, trucks to name a few. Another name for this branch of engineering is ‘Vehicle Engineering’. The Automobile Industry has witnessed upsurge over the last few years and the process is still in continuity. It is noteworthy that automobile industry in India is one of the largest industries in the world.

Curriculum

The course enhances student’s innovative minds and they are encouraged to participate in research and designing to fulfil the basic purpose of the field i.e. to increase feasibility and improve the designs of automobiles keeping the cost of the product at a minimum level.
